This is one of our favorite Benzinger designs and demonstrates the art of hand skeletonization and engraving perhaps like no other Benzinger.
To create this watch we asked Jochen to make a complete skeleton watch for us with the final movement decorated in rose gold.
Full skeleton watches have always been on the wish list of serious watch collectors, but when you add the fact that this watch is made by hand (and not skeletonized by a computer program) the result is amazing. In other words, this is the real thing.
To create this watch, Jochen makes extensive use of historic rose engines, while the movement is hand skeletonized and hand engraved using many patterns and complementary colors.
With this watch Jochen proves again why his old world craftsmanship skills are among the elite in his profession. Everything is done by hand, using original engraving and engine turning machines, many of which are antiques. You can learn more about how Jochen Benzinger creates watches by

This watch is manually winding with a power reserve of 44 hours.
Sapphire crystals on both sides. The presentation box is elaborate, and naturally features engraved plates describing and naming the watch.
This watch ships with a black Benzinger calf leather strap and deployant buckle.
