This watch is a limited edition of 100 pieces - the limited edition number is engraved on the case back of each piece.


The Hanhart Pioneer Night Pilot Limited Edition is a single button chronograph housed in a black DLC case, fitted with a green luminous dial completely coated with C3 SuperLuminova. 

During the day, the dial is a soft white.  Black skeletonized hands and numerals offer a stark contrast and allow for a quick read of the time.  At night, the fully luminescent dial emits a bright green glow.

Another unique feature of this piece is the luminescent stitching on the black leather strap.  The stitching offers a green glow at night while appearing white during the day.


Design Inspiration

Hanhart introduced their first single button chronograph in 1938 which was then known as Calibre 40.  A single button chronograph provides ease of use in that one pusher is used to start, stop and reset the chronograph.

Even today Hanhart continues to produce in-house the movement modifications necessary to incorporate the single button function using an erosion machine to modify the cam.  Besides ease of use, this design attracts a great deal of interest as a conversation point since the functions differ from a standard chronograph.

The distinctive red pusher is a Hanhart trademark and dates back to early Hanhart pilot's watch designs.

Another Hanhart movement modification is the increased spacing between the pusher and the crown to improve ease of use carried out by Manufacture La Joux-Perret.


This two register chronograph features a 30 minute register at 3 and small seconds at 9. The DLC (diamond-like carbon) black stainless steel case is incredibly tough, and offers increased protection against abrasions and corrosion while giving the watch a sleek black look.

This watch is water resistant to 100 meters and is fitted with a black leather strap with white luminescent stitching.  A removable matching black leather underlay (bund pad) with white luminescent stitching is also included.
