A Very Special Dial
This watch is a brand new limited production piece from Stefan Kudoke and features a blue goldstone dial along with an elaborately guilloched movement.
Because of the complexity of producing this dial and movement, only 12 pieces of this watch will be created each year.
What is Goldstone?
Goldstone is a manmade glass renowned for its opulent appearance reminiscent of natural gemstones.
Goldstone is created through a process known as the "aventurine effect," where metallic flakes are added to molten glass and then cooled rapidly to create its characteristic shimmer. The sparkles are actually tiny metallic copper crystals suspended within the glass matrix.
No two dials will be exactly alike.
Other Features of the Kudoke Infinity
On the front, the goldstone dial features flame blued hour and minute hands (shaped like infinity symbols) with the Kudoke badge at 6. The look is clean, distinctive and clearly shows what "hand made" means.
Adding to the unique goldstone dial, another focal point of this exceptional piece lies in the intricately hand guilloched movement bridge. Delicate lines embellish the white rhodium-plated bridge, creating a design reminiscent of a shining star which originates from the frosted balance cock.
The manually wound movement supports a power reserve of 46 hours, and the Carl Haas balance spring is of chronometer quality. The movement also features KIF shock protection.
No Kudoke watch would be complete without a frosted balance cock, but what is so interesting in this movement design is how proportionally large the balance cock is to the movement.
We compliment Stefan in choosing to make a watch with a case diameter of 39 mm, an ideal size for almost every wrist and size that is spot on to fit the character of this watch.
