Sinn was so proud of the new 6100 Regulateur Technik that they chose it for the front cover of their 2008 calendar.
Since introducing the 6100 Regulateur, Sinn knew they had a home run on their hands. The Technik model is the latest addition to this series, and differs from other Regulateur models in several important ways.
First, Sinn has added a hack feature to stop the second hand when the crown is engaged. Since a hack feature is important to many watch owners who want to set the watch to an exact time, Sinn modified the movement to add this hack feature.
Next, the dial design is all new. The traditional Regulateur models feature guilloche dials, while the new Technick dial is in flat black with contemporary bold markers. The dial is highly legible, and features luminous hands and key minute and hour markers.
The result is a watch with attitude and good looks, all packed in a 44 mm case.
The movement is built and regulated to chronometer standards with a Glucydur screw balance, Triovis fine adjustment and elaborate movement decoration with sapphire crystals on front and back.
The case is in 316L stainless steel, while the crown is sealed with the Sinn crown system D3 (direkt-doppel-dichtend) making the watch water resistant to 100 meters.
