Product Details

This is a "cool" watch, in many senses of the word. Tired of the traditional black, blue and sliver dials? Go blue - and not just any blue. This watch has a dial that cannot be described, in either words or photographs. It is one of those watches on which we receive phone calls from clients after they open the box to let us know how extremely pleased they are with the remarkable color of this dial.

Designed for commercial and military operations in extreme alpine/high-altitude settings. Special inert gas mixture and dehumidifier capsule (shown at 7) eliminate moisture intrusion in virtually any environment. Solid stainless steel construction is corrosion-resistant and is slow to assume the surrounding ambient temperature.

Automatic winding mechanical chronograph movement with power reserve of 42 hours. Functions include hours, minutes, subsidiary seconds, date, day and complete chronograph functions.

This watch also features a rotating bezel with large 60 second indicator.

Case is in polished stainless steel with screw down solid back, and is fitted with a brushed and polished steel bracelet with security folding clasp.

Dial is arctic blue with Arabic numerals which are luminous.

Comments about this watch: Very impressed. The dial is, as advertised, fantastic and the watch has a substantial feel. Adjusting the bracelet was a snap and I plan on using the blue leather strap as well. The lugs slope down off the 41mm case so it hugs my 6.5" wrist with no problems at all. Definitely a keeper.

Comments about this watch: I've had mine several years now and I've yet to find anything to complain about. It keeps impeccable time, is easy to read long after usable light has vanished and (of course) it is drop dead gorgeous. Toss in its tremendous real-world functionality and you have a watch approaching perfect as per my wants/needs.

Comments about this watch: Possibly the best watch I've ever owned. An extremely durable watch. Bracelet is tough yet easy to adjust and very comfortable. Dial is extremely easy to read under any light conditions. I dive so the diving features come in handy.

Comments about this watch: I've owned my ARKTIS for over six months and checking it for a minimum of six consecutive days each month I can report it gains an average of 4.5 seconds per day, good accuracy IMO. Dial color is a treat because it varies according to light striking the dial surface, and with the bracelet and case having bright polished and matte parts the ARKTIS has a bit of a 'bling' factor. Technical specs are beyond my needs but nice to have even if I'll never need the temp and depth ratings.
