Introducing a brand new (and stunning) dial option for the MeisterSinger No. 1 Series - chocolate brown with a sunray pattern.
The dial color is rich, and immediately draws you in.
This watch also features a new screwed case back design with an elegant engraved MeisterSinger logo pattern.
Owing its origins to the sundial, the single hand watch first appeared as a pocket watch in the 18th century, and has not been produced as a wrist watch since the early 1900's.
The dial is marked in both hour and five minute intervals. To tell the correct time, simply read the correct two digit hour and count the number of five minute markers after the hour to know minutes.
In keeping to its origins as the first mechanical watch design, this watch is made strictly as a manually wound mechanical watch.
Other features include a convex sapphire crystal on the front which produces a slight magnifying effect. Early wrist watches used this type of convex crystal almost exclusively, rather than the flat crystals used on most modern watch designs.
