To create this watch case Sinn did not need to travel far.  In fact, their neighbors in Obertshausen, Germany (about a 25 minute drive from Sinn's headquarters in Frankfurt) are known for producing some of the world's most respected hand made belts and leather goods.

The company is called Kreis, and since 1963 their focus has been producing leather products by hand using only full-grained leather: classic box calf and traditionally pit-tanned leather from Germany, saddle leather from England and legendary Shell Cordovan leather from the Horween® tannery in Chicago.

Sinn approached Kreis with a request to make a watch case of the highest quality from English saddle leather, which is known for its durability and finish.  The watch case is smooth yet sturdy offering a satisfying click, signifying your watch is secure. 

The inside of the case is lined with suede and features an adjustable watch holder that can be expanded or contracted to provide a custom and secure fit for your specific watch size. 

The top of the case is debossed with the signature Sinn logo we have all come to recognize, while the bottom features the signature Kreis "K” logo debossed into the leather.
