In contrast to his Subskription and Regulator models, the timepieces in Jochen’s "Classic” series offer a more traditional layout with the hour and minute hands typically mounted together on a central post. However, these watches are far from simple.
They feature hand-guilloched and hand-skeletonized features that do not just catch the eye, they tend to draw a crowd. Jochen designs and completes all his creations in-house along with a group of German master watchmakers.
This watch features a multi-layered dial in sterling silver that is hand-guilloched and hand-skeletonized. The lower dial is decorated in a ray guilloche that is finished in a blue Galvano, and the top dial is embellished in a ribbon guilloche with a Breguet frost finish.
The guilloched groundplate is finished in blue platinum, which is viewable via the skeletonized seconds register at 6. The transparent case back reveals the hand-guilloched, skeletonized, and engraved movement that is decorated in white rhodium, purple, and navy. Additionally, the movement features flame-blued screws and swan neck regulation.
The case is made in Pforzheim with high grade steel, has a combination of polished and brushed finishes, and features a sapphire crystal on the front and back.
This watch ships with a calf leather strap and a stainless steel buckle.
