The new Fortis Aeromaster Chronograph PC-7 Team Limited Edition is the third Fortis watch to carry the PC-7 Team logo since their partnership began in 2006.
Designed to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the PC-7 Team, this is a limited edition of only 300 pieces.
The PC-7 Team is a group of Swiss Air Force pilots that perform acrobatic flying displays for audiences throughout Switzerland and abroad.
The team began informally in the early 1980s after the release of the Pilatus PC-7 Turbo Trainer aircraft. In the early years, the team performed almost exclusively solo maneuvers. It was not until 1987 that they began flying group routines for the public, including their signature diamond formation of nine PC-7 planes.
In 1989, the PC-7 Team was formally established in conjunction with the Swiss Air Force's 75-year jubilee. 2019 marks the 30th anniversary of the teams official beginnings.
The Fortis Aeromaster Chronograph PC-7 Team Limited Edition holds a special place within the Fortis collection. It represents the shared aviation history between Fortis and the Swiss PC-7 Team.
Each Aeromaster Chronograph PC-7 Team Limited Edition watch is a chronometer worthy of the Swiss Air Force and utilizes a COSC certified Valjoux 7750.
The dial color scheme matches that of the PC-7 Team, with a royal blue dial, white numerals and accents, and a red chronograph seconds hand.
The Arabic numerals and metallic sword styled hands are coated with SuperLuminova, and the sapphire crystal has a double sided anti-reflective coating for excellent legibility - even in low light.
The constant-seconds subdial features applied metallic PC-7 planes in a diamond formation.
