70 Hours Power Reserve
The new Fortis Flieger F-43 Triple-GMT Chronometer in titanium is the flagship of what is already a historically strong collection of Fortis pilot's watches.
Fortis' Flieger Collection has been a cornerstone of the brand since its introduction in 1987, and their watches have served as pilots' tools for over 30 years.
With a COSC certified movement, the ability to track 3 time zones, an impressive 70 hour power reserve and a titanium case, this watch is more than a step above the rest, all in a proprietary movement.

A First for Fortis
The Fortis Flieger F-43 Triple-GMT Chronometer is breaking new ground for Fortis. It is the first triple GMT watch in the history of the brand.
This watch is capable of showing three time zones, two in a 12 hour configuration and one with a 24 hour display.
While the primary 12 hour and secondary 24 hour time zones are mechanical, the third time zone is established by rotating the 12 hour bezel and using the primary hour hand to tell the time.
One of the most impressive features of the Fortis Flieger F-43 Triple-GMT Chronometer is its engine. This watch utilizes the WERK 13, a COSC certified GMT proprietary calibre developed in partnership with Kenissi.
Kenissi is a Swiss builder and designer of very high end movements, and will be familiar to those who follow Tudor. Kenissi is Tudor's movement manufacturer, and produces all of their in-house calibres with the exception of one chronograph calibre.
The WERK 13 features an integrated 24 hour GMT complication with a jumping GMT hour. In addition, the owner can change the date forward or backward at any time.
The Fortis Flieger F-43 Triple-GMT Chronometer also has a 70 hour power reserve, allowing it to power through a weekend off the wrist with ease.
A Focus on Functionality
The Fortis Flieger F-43 Triple-GMT Chronometer was designed to be a practical and useful tool for pilots.
The GMT bezel stands tall above the case. Its height allows for easy use, even with thick gloves. Rather than a stiff 120 click mechanism, the bezel features a smooth 24 click rotation to ensure accuracy when establishing the third time zone.
By using titanium for the case, Fortis created a watch that wears light on the wrist while still being extremely durable.
The watch appears even more distinct in low light, when green SuperLuminova X1 and Berlac Fluor Orange imitate a neon glow.
The Fortis Flieger F-43 Triple-GMT Chronometer is not only capable of safe flight, but with 200 meters of water resistance the watch is also prepared for a water landing.
The new Fortis BRIXTRACK® system places illuminated Brix on the circular brushed BRIXTRACK on the outer dial to provide maximum legibility.
This new design and illumination system dramatically increase legibility in low-light conditions.
The new Fortis SYNCHROLINE® calibration system is designed to assist pilots when calibrating flight turns and vectors, especially those flying in precise formation.
Using Berlac Fluor Orange, the new Fortis Flieger F-43 Triple-GMT clearly indicates a +/- 5 second range at 12 to make critical adjustments to flight paths.
This new watch is packaged in a custom black box with a carbon-like lid. By pushing on the lid a secret compartment can be accessed to reveal a microfiber cloth and watch tool.
