In announcing the 6100 Regulateur series, Sinn has coined the term "The Modern Tradition Watches". These watches demonstrate how the engineers and master watchmakers from Frankfurt am Main combine the most modern technology with the traditional watchmaker's craft.
To create the Regulateur series, Sinn has modified the venerable Unitas 6498-1 hand winding movement to accommodate the traditional regulator functions - an hour hand register at 12, full central minutes hand and sweep seconds register at 6. Sinn has named this movement the Sinn SZ-04.
Features include movement built and regulated to chronometer standards, Glucydur screw balance, Triovis fine adjustment, elaborate movement decoration with sapphire crystals on front and back, and a Sinn crown system D3.
The case is in 316L stainless steel, and features a finely guilloched silver color dial with contrasting appliqués. The hands, numerals and markers are of a rose gold color, and provide a nice contrast against the silver dial. The crown is sealed with the Sinn crown system D3 (direkt-doppel-dichtend), and the watch is water resistant to 100 meters. This watch features a honey brown calf leather strap.
This watch comes in a special Sinn presentation box that features the new Sinn telescoping loupe.
