Manfred Brassler is responsible for designing MeisterSinger mechanical watches in Altenberge, Germany.

MeisterSinger watches owe their simplicity to watch designs from the 1940's, which is often referred to as the golden age of mechanical watches. MeisterSinger watches are designed in Germany, and completed in Switzerland for excellent fit and finish.

You'll notice many small details in MeisterSinger watches that make them special, such as two-digit numerals to reflect the hour, and needle hands. These features give the watches an instrument effect. Further, the sapphire crystals themselves have a slight magnifier effect both for legibility and design purposes.

Starting with a case that is almost the perfect size by today's standards, 43 mm, MeisterSinger uses only fine brushed stainless steel with a polished bezel. The dials are fantastic, both in color and design, and again draw from the past. Many of the watches use tan dials to give character to the line, and the layout and markings are crisp.

The press reviews for MeisterSinger watches have been impressive.

Uhren-Magazin

"Anyone who lives at the rhythm of a MeisterSinger single-hand watch renounces preoccupation with the seconds from the outset and manages his daily routine for the most part at a five-minute pace...this meticulous approach (to design) is evidence of the high appreciation of details"

Uhren Juwelen Schmuck

"Impressive range of mechanical watches...Brassler is once again bringing a breath of fresh air to the watch scene – this time with mechanical models with a distinctive face"

In summary, congratulations to Manfred and his team for creating a line of mechanical watches that is refreshing and unique. WatchBuys is pleased to be an official and authorized retailer for MeisterSinger watches.
