This watch is a limited edition series of 45 pieces in 18K solid rose gold, and with the price of gold having skyrocketed in 2010 this watch has taken on new value due to its massive solid rose gold case.
Features include movement built and regulated to chronometer standards, Glucydur screw balance, Triovis fine adjustment, elaborate movement decoration with sapphire crystals on front and back, and a Sinn crown system D3.
The case is in solid 18K rose gold, and features a finely guilloched black dial with contrasting appliqués. The hands, numerals and markers are in a rose gold color, and provide a deep contrast against the black dial. The crown is sealed with the Sinn crown system D3 (direkt-doppel-dichtend), and the watch is water resistant to 100 meters.
The presentation case and box for this watch are elaborate, featuring two black Russian leather straps, solid 18K rose gold buckle, additional spring bars, watchmaker's loupe, Sinn polishing cloth and special book hand signed by Lothar Schmidt, the owner and CEO of Sinn Spezialuhren in observation of the firm's anniversary.
