Sinn has been working hard over the past year to develop their new SZ03 calibre which allows for the first time a true calendar chronograph complication with week display.
Why the Week?
In Germany (and most of Europe) businesses make production, sales and work schedules using weeks. For example, it's common to say "we'll deliver that product in week 36, and meet on the latest product plans in week 42."
Sinn's goal with their latest Frankfurt Finance Series 6052 was to develop a chronograph complication with full calendar functions: day, month, day and week.
The date is displayed through a center mounted hand, while the week is shown in the subsidiary register at 6. All of the calendar functions are activated through various crown positions with the exception of the day display which advances by an external pusher at 10.
This is the ideal watch for organizing business appointments and planning activities, and let's face it - it's just fun to wear a mechanical chronograph with these displays.
