RGM are three initials that belong to a well known and respected US watchmaker - Roland G. Murphy.

Roland himself has a distinguished background. He is a 1986 graduate of the famous Wostep program in Switzerland, and before that he studied in Lancaster at the school for watchmaking and clockmaking.

His dream was to create his own high - quality complicated watches. That dream began in the late 1980s when Roland was working in product development for a large Swiss watch company.

Tired of compromises, he ventured out on a solo quest to produce his own high quality mechanical watch collection in the spirit of the Swiss. Roland's decision is the watch collector's reward. RGM introduced its first watch in 1993 to rave reviews. Today it has become a respected watch brand among serious watch connoisseurs.

At large corporations, its nearly impossible to find someone who knows everything about every watch. At RGM, Roland is just a phone call away, adding a unique personal touch in today's watch world.

What is a somewhat closely held secret is the work Roland Murphy does for other brands of watches, many costing $50,000 and more. Watch collectors, historians and connoisseurs around the world trust Roland to modify, enhance, refurbish and overhaul their most prized mechanical watches, and he has become known as a leading specialist in these tasks. His work is that good.
