"Worth the wait"
Comments about this watch: I ordered this watch a bit more than a month ago. It was sent to me promptly, but after wearing it for about an hour after it arrived, it was 10 minutes slow. Did I set it incorrectly? I reset the watch, wore it again, and it was off again. Off to a bad start. I collected some data, and if I just had the watch sit face up, it would run about +2 per day. If I wore it, it would be inaccurate. I spoke with Kevin, who suggested I follow their timing protocol. At first I was hoping that they would just say, send it back, but when I thought about it, they want good data, which I admire. On the first day of the timing test, it was off 1 hour, 50 minutes in 8 hours, so they said, send it back. Of course, when they first tested it, it ran fine when it wasn't worn. I spoke with Matt, and he was going to send it to Nomos. In a static test, it ran fine for them. I said, it has to be worn to go inaccurate. "Amazing Entry Level Dress Watch"
Comments about this watch: I’ve been wearing this every since I got it and I love how thin the thickness is. It feels like there isn’t anything on my wrist. The lume is the only weak point for this piece but other than that it is a piece perfect for my collection. Also, definitely recommend to carry this suede strap for smaller wrist people like me :)
"Nomos Campus Club"
Comments about this watch: I had been curious about Nomos watches for some time and decided to give one a try. I bought the entry level manual wind Campus Club and was pleasantly surprised by the quality, subtle design and time keeping accuracy of this thin light weight pwerhouse. The 38.5 size is perfect for my 6 3/4 wrist.
Looks even better on a shell cordovan strip. My only complaint would be the lume, or lack thereof. very weak. Something I can live with.
