We are pleased to have just received new stock of the Muhle Glashutte Terranaut III in the new 40 mm case size. This is the first time that we have carried this new dial design, and the color scheme is somewhat difficult to describe.
The dial itself is matte black while the the quarter hour numerals are in white. The remaining hour Arabic numerals are in military green, as is the sweep second hand.
This Muhle Glashutte Terranaut III is designed as a navigator watch, and is engineered in a traditional German pilot's style.
Date display at 4:30. Hands are coated in SuperLuminova for visibility at night, as are the hour markers and two lume dots at noon.
The case size is 40 mm with a satinized finish, and features a flat sapphire crystal. The automatic winding movement is nicely decorated and features a number of parts made in-house by Muhle.
Black calf leather strap with tang buckle.
