MeisterSinger recently celebrated their 10th anniversary, and to commemorate this event they added an outstanding new anthracite dial color to their collection.
The MeisterSinger Perigraph is of a unique design, and is the only single hand watch in the collection with a date function.
We love the date display - as is typical with MeisterSinger watches, the design is pure, simple and different. Take a moment to expand the picture on the top right and you'll notice that the dial is composed of three elements - an outer ring, a central dial and a rotating date wheel. The date is indicated by a red triangle at 12.
We find this system to be both legible and functional.
Other features include a convex sapphire crystal on the front which produces a slight magnifying effect. Early wrist watches used this type of convex crystal almost exclusively, rather than the flat crystals used on most modern watch designs. The case is a combination of polished and matte stainless steel with a clear display back to reveal the nicely decorated movement.
This watch features an automatic winding mechanical movement. The dial is anthracite, and features a single white hand and two digit hour numerals.
