This is a brand new special release from MeisterSinger, and is their first watch to feature a black PVD case.
The mix of colors on this watch is the real winner - a matte black case and dial with the single hand and numbers in a red gold color. The new black PVD case adds a sporty element to the line while the dial markings and hand design maintain the traditional MeisterSinger pedigree.
The dial is marked in both hour and five minute intervals. To tell the correct time, simply read the correct two digit hour and count the number of five minute markers after the hour to know minutes.
Other features include a convex sapphire crystal on the front which produces a slight magnifying effect. Early wrist watches used this type of convex crystal almost exclusively, rather than the flat crystals used on most modern watch designs. The case is black PVD stainless steel with a clear display back to reveal the nicely decorated movement.
This watch features an automatic winding mechanical movement with a power reserve when fully wound of 42 hours.
