If visibility at night is high on your list of requested features, this is your new watch.
On the surface the Fortis Aquatis Diver strikes you as a well built sports watch. While it is well built, its features go well beyond those found in a basic sports watch.
The Fortis Aquatis Diver is the only marine watch we carry with a fully lumed dial, and it looks striking. Glowing with a brilliant blue hue, the numerals and hands around the dial are silhouetted in front of the lume which shines underneath. A luminous pip can also be found on the blued second hand.
An easy grip, coin edged uni-directional steel bezel complements the white dial. Screwed lugs ensure that the watch is secure on the wrist at all times.
As an added benefit, this watch also features a day/date display at the 3 position with the day display in either English or German (you change the settings through the crown).
Notice the two black triangles on either side of the day/date display. These triangles are not decorative – they actually indicate how to set the day and date. Using the second crown position, turn the crown clockwise to set the date and counter-clockwise to set the day.
At 42 millimeters, in a brushed stainless steel case, the Fortis Aquatis Diver is an excellent option for the majority of wrist sizes. A compact, butterfly style deployant buckle attaches to a black silicone rubber strap, making it very easy to wear or remove the watch with one hand.
